rural life has dominated many of my thoughts in the past few years. and while i’m a vegan, i have imagined what it would be like to own my own cow. similar to this young man, i’d imagine that when i “walk” the cow (or whatever he’s doing) that i look half as stylish as he does! country living doesn’t always equal unfashionable.

apparently girly girls dig suspenders, as i find this youngster absolutely adorable! i’m not sure how this look would translate for a man, but i’m certainly intrigued.
you can’t see my gesture right now, but i’m trying to push the non-existent fast forward button 20 years from today to see how this kiddo’s style evolves. 9 months ago / 40447 notes
for someone who totally digs penguins, i admit that mr. popper’s penguins looked terrible. and no, i didn’t go see it, nor do i really know what it’s about; however, doesn’t this picture kind of make you understand why the concept might have appeal?
because these penguins are stinkin adorable! and with this little girl and her precious mary janes…that just amplifies the cuteness by one hundred. 10 months ago / 185 notes
we’ve seen outfit-coordinating identical twins. we’ve seen mother-daughter combos who are all about matching ensembles, especially on easter sunday. and, while there are exceptions, these ensembles are terribly unattractive.
however, this father-son combo not only makes me hum cat stevens’ “father and son,” but leaves a lovely flavor of outfit coordination. who knew two navy pea coats could look so sharp?
someday i will force this look upon the special men in my life, and hopefully they will welcome it.

i wish i could still pull this look off. i mean, c’mon…matching glasses, hair ribbons, bathingsuit and lollipop?
i’m always reading people suggesting adults embrace their inner child more often. this looks like a good start, maybe after eating some chocolate ice cream for breakfast, but before jumping on our beds for an hour.

funny how matchy matchiness on children (especially parisian youngsters) is adorable, yet when adults or couples do it then it’s incredibly lame.

go ahead and fidget, embrace your inner-silly goose.

normally i don’t find kids cute, in fact, they’re downright scary. however, if you don’t think both of those faces are adorable then something is wrong with you.
