modcloth has released a valentines day-ish collection of items, which may be my favorite look book/wish list they’ve done yet. i don’t love it because it’s valentine’s day-oriented, but more so because everything in it is so darn girly!
here are my top five favorites:

beauty counter browsing romper

find it in your heart handbag

warm my heart tea infuser

she’s back! she’s back! i’ve missed kirsten dunst’s face, so hopefully this is a sign she can fall back onto my style radar. no one serves as a better source of feminine, yet hip as kirsten dunst can. 4 months ago / 673 notes
print-on-print is usually something i avoid, but this looks rather wonderful. 4 months ago / 10 notes
harr she blows! beyond the mast and starboard you’ll see a lovely little vintage lady wearing an outfit i like quite a bit.
ok, so i don’t speak sailor, but i do speak nautical-inspired fashions, and this is one that i’m quite fond of! the full skirt is to be expected given the genre, but that top. that top! prepsters take note that this is how prep is truly done imho.

merely looking at a blouse this feminine has me pining for springtime fashions. new york city is 18 degrees one minute, 60 the next. while i don’t know what to make of such erratic temperatures (insert global warming facts), i do know this is the type of shirt i’m ready to wear now! 4 months ago / 98 notes
despite my natural repulsion toward all things poncho, i’ve been eying them quite a bit lately. then low and behold is the poncho of all ponchos, this poncho, in a green plaid and paired with lace? how am i not supposed to like it!

there are so many beautiful things to notice about this picture; natural beauty aside, my eye immediately goes to her blouse-full skirt combination, with those mighty lovely mary janes. she’s rockin’ one of those vintage effortlessly girly looks that is vintage without feeling too contrived (think ripped shirt of a ’70s band). note to self: navy and rust is a lurvely color combination.
now back to the natural beauty, who’s down for a road trip down the west coast?

as you girl girls know, a great way to transition summer shorts into other seasons is to wear them with tights. summer is actually one of my least favorite season to wear shorts because i like to pair showin some leg with covering everything else, yet summer heat doesn’t always cooperate with this preference.
needless to say, three-quarter sleeve cardigans or oxford button-ups like this lovely lady’s here are how i like to roll.

i’m on the hunt for the perfect black blouse, and what this gal is wearing is similar to what i’m looking for: feminine, sheer, very slight polka dots and a peter pan collar. 11 months ago / 84 notes
1. few of us look this good getting off an airplane.
2. that dress —- LIKE!
3. i’m officially inspired to fly in more feminine garb moving forward, except on excruciatingly long flights. i have those down pretty well. and no, they don’t include a bouncy cute dress, heels nor perfectly coiffed hair.

this is absolute style porn. i would have never, ever thought to put this ensemble together, yet she executes it flawlessly. anytime a female can rock a bow tie and make it look ridiculously feminine gets an a+ in my book. 11 months ago / 24 notes
forgo that muumuu. i concur that a sheer lace mini dress would make for a divine, yet girly beach cover-up any day of the week.

good ideas! now i’ve gotta find a sheer lace mini dress to wear over my swimsuit on my trip to hawaii!
